Micro Gas Chromatograph Operates at 180 C
The C2V-200 micro gas chromatograph is a tested, versatile engineering prototype of a one-channel GC module that achieves analysis in 10 to 30 seconds. Additional features include a handheld size of 124 × 84 × 60 mm, an exchangeable GC channel cartridge measuring 90 × 50 × 15 mm, a low power system of 25 W at 100 C, optimal separation, operation up to 180 C, ppm sensitivity with TCD, and minimal carrier/reference gas that is operational at 1 mL/min. The chromatograph is supplied with a power line adaptor, a user manual and a software CD. External pressure (control), power, carrier gas, sampling and a PC is required to run the device. The stainless steel package uses standard VICI 1/16 inches connectors and requires a conditioned sample and carrier flow. The column can be heated up to 180 C, and the device has a ppm level detection limit.
