Automated GPC System Provides Post-Extraction Clean-Up

Gilson’s GX-271 GPC automated system provides automated post-extraction clean-up of interfering substances from environmental samples and food products prior to analysis by GC, GC-MS, HPLC or LC-MS. The system removes interfering compounds after sample extraction and prior to analysis while also improving the optimal analytical results, lengthening hardware life, including column life, and increasing the analytical system’s uptime. Applications include performing residue analysis of complex matrices such as fatty foods, soils, sludge, animal and plant tissue. The system features a direct injection module and a fraction collection valve located on the Z-arm, increasing efficiency by reducing sample carryover and post valve dead volume. Easy-to-use, flexible TRILUTION LC software controls the system completely and features pre-programmed methods specific to GPC post-extraction clean-up processes.
