Verification Materials for Fuels Testing

An updated range of verification materials for fuels testing includes referee values for low sulfur gasoline and ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD), meeting ASTM and IP test method protocols. Verification samples help users check the precision of results obtained from lab test analyzers and instruments. They provide a readily available means of complying with ISO 17025, ISO 9001 guidelines and other accreditation programs. The range includes MTVM “Multi Test” samples—a secondary reference material that provides traceable validation of several different test parameters from one sample. Also included are verified test values for simulated distillation (SIMDIS) by gas chromatography, water determination by Karl Fischer, lubricity of ultra low sulfur diesel by HFRR, vapor pressure by evacuated chamber test and many other test parameters.
