Ceramic-to-Metal Assemblies Resist Extreme Temperatures
Ceramic-to-metal assemblies (CMA) provide a highly durable hermetic seal and optimal electrical properties and resist extreme temperatures for demanding applications. Typically composed of polycrystalline alumina (94% to 99.9% pure) ceramic, the ceramic-to-metal seals are more robust and durable than glass seals. They maintain their hermeticity in a variety of harsh environments, such as high and low cryogenic temperature, corrosive, high-pressure and high-vacuum environments. Suited for OEMs, the assemblies are fully tested with total material traceability.
