Multi-Technology Water Purification System

Designed specifically for clinical application requirements, the easy-to-use RiOs-DI clinical system is suited for low volume analyzers requiring 10 to 30 L/day. Users are provided with an alternative to buying, storing and handling bottled water. Reverse osmosis technology has been combined with deionization resins to produce CLSI Special Reagent Water (SRW). With high resistivity and low TOC, typically >10 MΩ•cm at 25 C and <50 ppb before storage, this water is a higher quality than water produced by stills or service deionization water and without the drawbacks. A built-in 254-nm UV lamp ensures low bacterial levels, less than 10 cfu/mL after UV. The easy-to-maintain system combines all major purification technologies in a single disposable pack, which can be changed in just a few minutes. Additionally, the color graphic display indicates system parameters and water quality, making it clear when the cartridge needs replacement. With a 6-L, built-in reservoir as part of the compact design, purified water is stored and available when needed.
