Rapid Microbiology Detection System
The Milliflex Rapid Microbiology Detection System and AutoSpray Station is an automated solution for the rapid detection, response, and resolution of microbial contamination in manufacturing processes. Suitable for a range of pharmaceutical and beverage applications, the detection system improves process control, product yield, and the timely release of products. Based on Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence technology, the system delivers test results in approximately 1/4 the time of traditional microbial contamination detection methods. With its capacity to detect and count viable microorganisms down to one colony-forming unit (CFU), the system delivers reproducible results that correlate with traditional methods. To further ensure reliability, the detection system uses pre-sterilized, disposable Milliflex filter units for sample preparation. Easy to operate and validate, this system is 21 CFR Part 11 compliance ready. For improved detection of living microorganisms, the AutoSpray station delivers a uniform application of bioluminescent reagents in 90 seconds. A self-priming micropump ensures that a precise volume of preprogrammed reagent is dispensed. The self-cleaning unit completes its cleaning protocol in 5 minutes.
