Automated Petri Dish Filler
The MEDIAJET vario automated Petri dish filler fulfills the media preparation requirements of QC labs in the beverage and environmental/drinking water sectors. The system also prepares large numbers of 60-mm diameter Petri dishes that are typically used in filter assays for determination of total bacterial counts. Built to provide flexible productivity, the system can be converted from filling 90-mm diameter dishes to 60-mm diameter dishes in less than five minutes, providing a walk-away operation. Operational downtime and media loss because of “dish jams” that result from variations in the diameter, shape and rim profile of the disposable plastic Petri dishes are completely eliminated. Intuitive software ensures operation of the system is self-explanatory. The ability to store 20 programmable methods improves the possibility of unattended productivity.
