Benchtop Microplate Handling System Supports Three Peripheral Instruments
The robust, benchtop R-Series BenchCel microplate handling system delivers the speed and precision of much larger automation platforms. The high-speed plate shuttle enables rapid and precise accessing of integrated microplate stacks and peripheral instruments. All units in the series can support three peripheral instruments, allowing users to create configurable workstations that combine barcode labeling, microplate sealing, plate reading and centrifugation. Users can choose from 2-, 4- or 6-stack instrument configurations and from four different sizes of removable racks with capacities of 15 to 70 standard microplates. A delidding function removes and replaces microplate lids as necessary, adding to system versatility. Typical applications include bulk dispensing, PCR preparation, colorimetric and kinetic assays, coat and barcode plates for ELISA assays, and cell plating.
