Traceable Digital Tachometer Takes Readings in Seconds

The Traceable digital tachometer provides touch-less, no-contact operation. Safe and easy to use, it measures revolutions per minute anywhere from 2 to 78 away from a rotating object. Labs and plants can use the device to read speeds of centrifuges, motors and stirrers. The five-digit LCD has a highly visible 0.4 high display. The tachometer shines a beam of light that reflects off self-adhesive tabs to give readings of 10 to 99,999 revolutions per minute. Resolution measures 0.1 below 1000 and 1 above 1000. Accuracy is ۫ rpm or 0.05%. A precision quartz crystal is utilized for an accurate time base. Most readings take only a second, and a memory feature allows the last reading to be recalled any time. In addition, four AA alkaline batteries, a rugged ABS plastic case, self-adhesive reflecting tabs, an internal light and a carrying case are provided. To ensure accuracy, an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory, accredited by A2LA, provides an individually serial-numbered Traceable certificate indicating standards to NIST.
