Ultra-Thin Flow Cell Window Measures Only 200 Microns
Flow cells with ultra-thin windows minimize interference when used in confocal laser microscopy and refractive index matching. The window of the porthole cell measures only 200-microns thick. For robustness, the 5-mm diameter window is heat-fused to thicker supporting material around its circumference for robustness. The manufacturing process also ensures the window thickness is accurately controlled and is stress-free for optimum optical performance. The products are manufactured in an environment conforming to the latest ISO 9001:2000 standard.
