Laminar Flow Industrial Workbenches
Proprietary laminar flow industrial workbenches are recommended for any Class 100 requirement that does not produce by-products that can contaminate the worker or production area, such as electronic parts assembly or inspection. Both vertical- and horizontal-flow versions are offered. Horizontal-flow workbenches provide the best product protection because the individual using the workbench is always downstream of the work area. All of the workbenches incorporate the features needed to meet critical work requirements, including 90-fpm air velocity, HEPA filters to capture particles as small as 0.3 micron, easy-access pre-filters, a magnehelic gauge to monitor static air pressure, fluorescent lighting and cleanroom sealed work surfaces. Centrifugal, direct-drive fans feature static capacity to 1.2 WG at rated flow and are mounted on rubber isolators for smooth, quiet operation. Also, variable-speed control allows users to adjust airflow. Laminar flow workbenches are available in overall lengths of 49.5 to 97.5 with work surface depths of 24, 30 or 36. Workstation sides and backs are flush, so they may be positioned side-by-side or back-to-back for efficient space management.
