HPLC Columns Resolve Difficult Compounds

Luna PFP(2) (pentafluorophenyl propyl) high performance columns combine ultra-pure silica with penta-?fluorophenyl chemistry for increased selectivity and reproducibility for difficult compounds. Using multiple selectivity mechanisms including hydrogen bonding, dipole-dipole, aromatic, and hydrophobic, the columns separate challenging compounds that are highly polar, halogenated, isomeric or aromatic. The columns are suited for pharmaceutical and natural products research and are particularly useful in taxane analysis. Available packed with 3- or 5-µm particles, they are also offered in many dimensions.
