Portable Gas Standards Generating Station
For creating complex trace concentration mixtures, the Span Lab Cal Cart incorporates the features of a gas standards generating system into a convenient, roll-around unit that can be moved between various analyzer stations. A system with six modules can be installed in the cart with supporting dilution gas cylinders. Internal battery power is available to minimize the time required for moving and startup at each analyzer station. NIST-traceable permeation tubes are used to dispense the analyte vapors for blending ppm and ppb mixtures. The cart can be configured with six independently controlled permeation ovens to enable the generation of complex mixtures or to make several different span mixtures instantly available. In addition, the system can be used with more than 400 different compounds. Ruggedly constructed for industrial service, the cart is made of polypropylene and metal surfaces that are epoxy-powder coated, making it suitable for cleanrooms.
