Enhanced Microanalysis Software Features Automatic Collection
GENESIS 5.2 EDS microanalysis software includes Auto Shape, an automatic spectrum collection routine that allows the user to select points and/or shapes from an image to collect spectrum. The software saves and labels the spectrum collected from the multiple positions along with their position that is then laid over the image. Additional features include a software interface for the Apollo 40 SDD and Apollo 10 SDD silicon drift detectors. The Apollo SDD integrates into the range of EDS and WDS detectors that the software’s electronics and software are able to control.
