Custom-Engineered Wet-Mix Process Systems
Custom-engineered wet-mix process systems feature colloid mills and positive displacement feed pumps that are packaged to meet specific user requirements for emulsifying, dispersion and particle size reduction. Users are provided with a finished, homogeneous product that has repeatable viscosity and dispersion down to 1 micron with total consistency from batch to batch. Featuring a colloid mill and positive displacement feed pump, the systems can be designed to handle viscous materials from 1000 CPS and up with flow rates from 0.5 μp to 300 GPM, depending upon the application. Suitable for food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and chemical applications, they can be supplied for continuous- or batch-processing in laboratory, pilot plant and production environments. Colloid mills can be adjusted while running to allow product fine-tuning. They are FDA, USDA and 3A compliant, and the feed pumps permit flow control.
